Beginners Guide for Content Writing

October 21, 2021 by Jahnvi Pahwa Leave a Comment

They say beginnings are the hardest but so is consistency. Agreed? To talk about content writing you need the same.

First things first, let’s get into some basics.

What is Content Writing?

Content writing basically refers to creating content for a target audience. It is the process that involves planning, writing and editing web content, typically for digital marketing purposes.

What is Content Marketing?

“Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.”

In simple words it is a strategy used by brands to create web content that is delivered to their target audience through google. Content marketing is also practiced to keep up the SEO activity on search engines.

You see, whatever you read on the internet has multiple reasons behind it.

Why is Content Marketing Important?

It is used by many prominent organizations in the world, including P&G, Microsoft, etc. It’s also developed and executed by small businesses around the globe. Why? Because it works.

The importance of content marketing is witnessed in

  • Increased sales
  • Low budgeted
  • Helps consumer make decisions

The great thing about content marketing is that you don’t actually have to market it. Consumer seeks you out. From there the story of trust builds.

Types of Content

There are various text forms that are consciously or unconsciously consumed by the brand’s target audience. Some of them are-

  • Emails
  • Website content
  • Articles
  • Press releases
  • Newsletters
  • Product description
  • Ebooks
  • Social Media posts
  • Landing pages
  • Keynote speeches
  • Video scripts

Here’s the Guide to Better Writing

Content writing is something where people can get better with practice. Remember the first line about consistency? Writing content is not that easy and one needs a structure to write on.

Start Reading

Why reading first? Reading in the language that you want to write helps your brain to unconsciously revise the words that you would put in your writing. It improves your memory in terms of language and increases your knowledge in terms of topic.

According to science, reading everyday improves your writing skills as it expands your vocabulary. Exposing yourself to publishing creates a great impact in your own writing and you may yourself observe the fluidity and cadence invariably influencing your work.

Research

Research simply means having an extensive knowledge about the topic that you are planning to write about. Content writer not only curates content but keeps a deep understanding about the subjects.

Keep a notepad ready while researching and jot down the points that you want to include in your write-up. While researching, make content clusters to help you with the structure of the piece of content. For example, if I want to write about newly launched Windows 11, I’ll make the cluster like

  • Introduction
  • What’s new in Windows 11
  • Brief about previous versions of Windows
  • Win 11, 7 and 10 Comparison
  • Windows 11 update guide
  • Conclusion

Forming clusters help you to visualize and plan your content better and you end up giving a good amount of information to the reader.

Keyword Research

Let’s not forget that we are writing for an online platform. If that online platform doesn’t show up on the search engine, all the efforts will go in vain. In order to not let that happen, keyword research is important.

Keywords are the words or phrases that people type on search engines to find what they’re looking for. For example if you’d want to know about zumba classes, you’ll search by typing ‘zumba classes near me’. So, ‘zumba classes near me’ is a keyword.

Keyword research is the process of discovering the keywords used by potential customers to find your products. You can then pick the most relevant keywords within your reach that have a good search volume. Infact, you should create a list of the most important and relevant keywords associated with your chosen topic. Then, you should prioritize the highest-value keywords by the keyword’s search volume, keyword difficulty, and average CPC. Keyword research is basically done for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) purposes which results in better ranking of the content write-up.

Thought Clarity

You need to know what you want to write about. The above step of keyword research will help a lot in clearing your mind. Pick a topic and write all about it as well as topics that revolve around it. Keep this in mind when writing that you must tie your content back to the main point as much as possible. It is better to stick to a point in every topic and make sure that you don’t mix different ideas in one content piece. It will break the user’s flow of reading.

Easy to read content grabs attention

Long texts can be difficult to read. Format your text such that it has 2-3 lines in each paragraph.

Online readers tend to scan through content to find points that they are interested in, rather than plowing through a long article. Use bolded subheadings to separate your content into topics or ideas, so readers can easily find the concepts that interest them.

Organizing your content this way also helps Google to index it so it gains a higher search position.

Fascinating Headlines

Headlines that turn heads are always a game changer. Your title’s primary purpose is to grab attention and summarize your idea. Apart from this, headlines should be valid to meet search guidelines to help Google assign a high search rank.

Let’s take an example, you are scrolling over facebook and come across an article named ‘how to take care of your skin at home’ and the other article named ‘10 awesome quarantine skin care tips’.

Both the articles may contain the same type of knowledge and content but the latter seems more interesting. Similarly, your users will decide whether they want to read the full content or not just by the headline.

Consistency is the key

Practice, Practice, Practice. First drafts are always a draft and need changes a lot of times. Point being, nobody writes perfectly at one go. Content writing is just like any other skill that needs time to develop.

Follow the suggestions to write better. You can also find free tools online that analyze your content and give you tips on how to improve content writing skills.

Keyword Density: Why is it Important? & How to calculate?

October 20, 2021 by Ritik Jain Leave a Comment

When you have to create a blog or a web page, then you must have done keyword research which will help you to find out which keywords you can use in your content. After that you will use those keywords in your content.

But do you know how much you have to use that keyword? So that it looks relevant in your content and helps in ranking your web page in SERP (Search engine result page).

This is what we call Keyword Density?

What is Keyword Density?

It is also known as keyword frequency; it tells you how often your targeted keyword appears in a webpage in relation to the total number of words it contains.

For example: if your webpage contains text of 200 words in which 10 words are your targeted keyword, your keyword density is 5%.

High keyword density helps search engines to identify whether your site content is relevant to that keyword or not.

But this doesn’t mean that you can fill your web page with keywords.

Search engines will downgrade your website and it will then appear lower down in search results when a keyword appears too often in your webpage, this is what we call keyword stuffing.

What is keyword Stuffing?

If you load a webpage with keywords or numbers in an attempt to increase your site’s ranking in the search engine result page then search engines will consider it as keyword stuffing.

Doing so can have a bad effect on your site because filling pages with keywords results in a negative user experience, and as you know User experience is one of the top 10 most important Google’s ranking factors.

According to Google webmaster guideline, A web page is considered keyword stuffed when it includes:

  • A List of phone numbers without substantial added value.
  • Blocks of text that list cities and states that a webpage is trying to rank for.
  • Repatriation of same words or phrases so often that it sounds unnatural, for example: We publish blogs on digital marketing. Our digital marketing blogs are fresh. If you want to read a digital marketing blog, please visit our digital marketing blog website.

But how do I find my keyword density? For you here is…

How to calculate keyword density?

There are a number of tools present on Google that can help you to find out your keyword density, but if you want to calculate keyword density on your own then Learning how to calculate keyword density is fairly easy.

The keyword density formula is.

Number of times the Target Keyword Appears(TKA) / Total Number of words on a webpage (TNW) x 100 = Keyword Density(KD)

TKA / TNW x 100 = KD

For example if your webpage contains 2000 words in which you use your keyword 50 times, your keyword density is..

50 (TKA) / 2000 (TNW) X 100 = 25% (KD)

But this formula only works when your keyword contains 1 word. If your keyword contains more than 1 word then the formula for calculating keyword density is…

TKA / ( TNW -( TKA x ( NWK-1 ) ) ) x 100 = KD

In which NWK refers to the number of words in your keyword.

For example if your webpage contains 2000 words and you used your keyword 50 times in which the number of words in your keyword is 3, your keyword density is…

100 / ( 200 -( 50 x ( 3-1 ) ) x 100 = 1%

This is one of the basic formulas of calculating keyword density.

Now you know what is keyword density and how to calculate it, but do you know what is the ideal keyword density which can help you in SEO. here is..

What is the Ideal Keyword Density?

Most people and SEO experts believe that 1.5 – 2% is the ideal keyword density which means your targeted keyword has to appear about one to two times per 100 words. But there was no confirmation regarding the ideal keyword density from Google or Other search engine.

You can use similar keywords to make content stuffed with keywords in it. For example: your keyword is “chartered accountant” then you can use “chartered accountancy” or ”chartered accounting”. In this way, the search engine will not consider your content as keyword stuffed and it will help the search engine to understand your content.

Now that’s it for this blog, hope you enjoyed reading this blog and you must have come to know about keyword density.

If you have any questions about keyword density, please feel free to get in touch.

Keywords: Short Tail VS Long Tail

October 20, 2021 by Ritik Jain Leave a Comment

When it comes to search engine optimization, keyword targeting is one of the top 10 most important google ranking factors.

Therefore, choosing the right keyword is necessary to get high ranking on SERP.

While researching, you discover two types of keywords you need to use: short tail and long tail. Both these types of keywords play an important role in SEO.

In this blog we are going to tell you which type of keyword is best for you.

But first, you should know that…

What is the short tail keyword?

Those Keywords which contain 2 words or less are considered as short tail keywords. Example : “marketing”, “digital blogs”, “marketing news” etc. they are also known as “Head Terms”.

Short tail keywords dificulty score is high beocuse they are very generic in nature. They describe only a certain category of knowledge, so they attract high search volumes.

For example, if you search for the short tail keyword like “marketing”, then Google will  generate a ridiculously high amount of results.

result from short tail keyword

This is because it’s very generic. By word “marketing” Google simply can’t identify your search intent, so it shows you results about all types of marketing like, Digital marketing, offline marketing, SMS marketing, content marketing etc.

Now you know what a short tail keyword is. So let’s find out….

What is the Long tail keyword?

Those keywords which contain 3 or more words are considered as long tail keywords. They are more specific than short tail keywords.

For example, if you search for “digital marketing course in Delhi” other than “marketing”. Then Google will show a lower amount of search results because they’re more detailed and better targeted.

result from long tail keyword

But which one is better for you?. Let’s use some metrics and compare them.

Short Tail VS Long Tail Keyword

Here we go with…

1. Volume

Short Tail Keyword: It has high search volume because there are much more general search queries consisting of one or two words and lots of people search for a given seed keyword to start their search into a specific topic.

Long Tail Keywords: It has low search volume because they have 3 or 4 more words which usually provide a more specific, localized or niche-based context.

2.  Competition

Short Tail Keyword: Because of its high search volume everyone wants to rank on it which makes it highly competitive.

Long Tail Keywords: because of its low search volume not many people want to rank on it which makes it low competitive.

competition in short tail and long tail keyword

3. Traffic Relevance:

Short Tail Keyword: The traffic attracted by them is mostly not relevant.

It is because, if a user searches for a short tail keyword like “digital marketing”, they may be looking for a course to do. But Google or other search engines do not know this, so they will show them every type of result on digital marketing like digital marketing trends, digital marketing blogs, digital marketing news etc.due to which the traffic on short tail keywords goes high and the relevancy of the traffic goes low.

Long Tail Keywords: The traffic attracted by them is mostly highly relevant.

It is because, If the same user as above will use the long tail keyword like “Digital Marketing Courses Near Me” then the search engine will show results only around the digital marketing courses. Due to which the traffic on long tail keywords goes low and the relevancy of the traffic goes high.

4. Cost in Google Ads

Short Tail Keyword: As you would know that if the thing whose demand is high, its price is also high. And because of the high competitiveness of short tail keywords, its demand is high. Due to which its cost is also high in Google ads.

Long Tail Keywords: As high demand = high cost, Low demand = low cost and because long tail keywords are less competitive its demand is low due to which its cost is also low.

5. Conversion rate

Short Tail Keyword: It has a low conversion rate because of less relevant traffic. If you rank in a short tail keyword then your website will get high impressions but clicks will be very less, due to which conversions will also be very less.

Long Tail Keyword: It has a high conversion rate because of high relevant traffic. If you rank on a long tail keyword then your website will get a low impression but click will be very high because your site is meeting their specific needs, due to which conversions will also be very high.

conversion rate curve

So which one is better?

As you can see above, if you want a high conversion rate at low cost and less effort then Long tail keywords are a far better choice for you. Because if you rank on short tail keywords, then your efforts will be more in it and any user who visits your website will go unsatisfied. And I’m sure you wouldn’t want that.

So, that’s all for this blog. I hope you have come to know which type of keyword is best for you. If you have any questions around keywords please feel free to get in touch.

Keyword Difficulty: What is it and How to Check?

October 20, 2021 by Ritik Jain Leave a Comment

If you are an SEO professional or a website owner then you will know what keywords are and how they work. But for some of my beginner friends, let me tell you what the keyword is..

A Keyword is a term that you enter whenever you search something on a search engine like Google, yahoo, bing etc. No matter whether it is a single word or a phrase.

For example you searched for “Indian national animal”.

what is keyword

Keyword optimization is important for SEO of every website or webpage. It is also one of Google’s Top 10 Most Important Ranking Factors.

Everyone wants to rank their website on keywords that describe the content on their page or post best. When people search for that keyword or phrase in Google or other search engines, they should find their page or website.

Finding the right keyword for your website is a key to get high ranking on SERP. You have to do some keyword research to find one.

While doing keyword research, finding a bunch of keywords that you want to rank for is easy. But the hard part is figuring out what it’ll take to rank for those keywords (i.e., “keyword difficulty”).

What is Keyword Difficulty?

The process of evaluating how difficult it is to rank on a search engine’s organic search results for a specific term are known as Keyword difficulty. This is one of the most important parts of keyword research.

There are many tools like..

  • SEMRUSH
  • Ahref
  • Google Keyword Planner

These tools help in finding out keyword difficulty scores. But the only issue is that every tool measures keyword difficulty differently. And they show different scores even for the same keyword.

So if you want to find out the exact keyword difficulty then you need to do some research on your own and for that here we have the next topic.

How to figure out keyword difficulty?

Before finding keyword difficulty, you should have a list of keywords. For that you can read this blog of digital marketing recipes in which you will get to know about “how to do keyword research?”.

When your keyword list is ready, you have to choose every keyword one by one and check …

  1. The Page Authority and Domain Authority of top 10 websites which are already ranking on that keyword. (You can use Moz extension for the same ).
 Get-PA-DA-using-Moz-Extention
  1. The backlink profile of top 10 websites. It can help you to find out whether the website is using black hat SEO or not. (you can use any tool for that)
  2. The spam score of those websites which are already ranking on that keyword. (you can use Mozbar here also)
  3. Whether the websites are using subdomain or not. If the domain of a website is like “xyz.blogspot.com” in the result of that keyword, then it means that the keyword is low competitive.
  4. Quality of the content of those websites which are already ranking on that keyword.

By checking all this, you will know how much effort you will have to make to rank your website on that keyword. And your content has to be the best piece of content among all the present content. And when you are creating content, you have to use your keywords in that on which you want to rank.

Now you know what the keyword difficulty is, So let’s go and find some keywords on which you can rank.

And if you still have any questions regarding keyword difficulty, please feel free to get in touch.

21 Inbound Link Building Strategies For SEO

October 16, 2021 by Ritik Jain Leave a Comment

It was very easy to build backlinks in the past because at that time the quantity of links mattered, not the quality.

After fully rolling out of Google’s penguin algorithm update on September 16, 2016, the quality of links matters much more than the quantity and Google & other search engines started counting backlinks as votes.

In this blog we are going to let you know about 21 link building strategies that can help you to build some useful backlinks.

but before we go ahead we’d like to remind you…

What is link building?

When we talk about SEO then link building is aimed at increasing the number of inbound links to your website which helps your web page to rank high on SERP(Search Engine Result Page).

Link Building is One of the Most Important Google Ranking Factors.

What is the impact of link building in SEO?

Link Building helps in Increasing some metrics like DR (Domine rating), PR (Page ranking), PA (Page Authority),  DA (Domain Authority), Alexa ranking and more which helps in SEO. It also helps Search Engine’s Crawler to find your web pages.

But why ?

Let’s take an example, If a normal person tells you that the food of a place is good, then you will not have that much trust in his words, but if this thing is told by Sanjeev Kapoor (famous celebrity chef) to you, then you would easily believe his words because he has some authority and people trust in his field. In the same way when a crawler visits a site and finds a backlink of your site then the crawler will see the reputation of that site in this field and accordingly rank your site in SERP.

How to get Quality backlink?

To get a quality backlink you have to build some reputation in your niche and have to build some content which is fresh and unique.

There are many strategies to build links and here in Digital Marketing Recipes we are going to show you how.

Signoff

A short and to the point email is always a better option to write an email for outreach.

3. Q&A – Best and Simple

Answering on Q&A sites on the question around your niche can help you to gain quality backlinks. Because some Q&A sites like Quora allow you to use hyperlink in your answers.  This is one of the most popular link building strategies.

In this, all the time it takes is in finding the questions related to your niche.

Where to find questions related to your niche?

Interact with members who deliver content similar to yours and develop relationships with potential collaborators. To find more questions related to your niche you can type your keyword on quora. Quora shows every question related to your keyword where you can pick up any question to answer.

Be sure to use high authority Q&A sites.

Here are a few of the most popular Q&A sites out there, currently:

  • Quora
  • Yahoo Answers
  • Answers
  • Stack Exchange

Now the second challenging part after finding the questions is writing the answer.

How to write answers ?

While writing an answer you have to keep in mind that your answer has to be relevant to the question and provides value to the user.

The link which you provide in the answer has to be related to the question.

4. Blog Commenting

Blog Commenting is one of the most easy and popular link building strategies. It also comes in Beginners SEO link building strategies. It helps you to build your link popularity directly from the comments.

Before commenting on any blog make sure that your comment will make sense to the reader. Don’t run behind the backlink. If your backlink is not relevant to the comment then leave it. By doing this you can gain some goodwill in the community.

Most of the blogs provide only “no follow’ link in their comment. So before commenting on any blog please make sure that the blog is providing a ‘Do follow” link in comments.

When it comes to Blog Commenting, finding a blog is slightly difficult. But you can use some terms like…

  • “your niche”+“Blog”
  • “your niche” +“Blogspot”
  • “your niche”+“article”
  • “your niche”+“Guide”
find blog related to your niche

These terms can help you to find some blogs around your niche.

5. Redirect Expired Domain

Expired domains are those domains whose websites have gone defunct. Most sites create or get a certain number of backlinks from other websites over their life. When a site like this goes down or the domain is cancelled for any reason – such as non-payment, the domain is then available for purchase along with all of the inbound links it has accumulated over time.

Redirecting these types of expired domains to your website can help you gain a huge amount of backlinks within a day.

But, finding a perfect expired domain for your site can be hard.

Here is how you can find the perfect expired domain for your Site.

Finding an expired domain is not easy but here are some sites that may help.

  1. Expireddomains.net
  2. Go Daddy
  3. Dropcatch.com

These sites sell expired domains through auctions where you can find some domains that are relevant to your niche.

6. Brain Dean’s Skyscraper Technique

This technique was invented by Brain Dean (founder of backlinko) as a way to create engaging content. In this technique the objective is to create a piece of content that is so great that people actually want to link to it and be the best among all.

How To Implement The Skyscraper Technique?

Implementation of this technique may take some time and effort but it is a very powerful link building tactic.

There are 3 core principles of this strategy.

  1. Finding a Popular Topic: find a topic that interests people and that everyone wants to link to their content. find a topic that people need but there is less content on it.
  2. Creating Content: See the content which is already written on the same topic you chose and create a piece of content which has to be the best among all, so that every person in your niche wants to link and then post it on your site.
  3. Promoting Your Content: Once you have launched your content then everyone must have to know about it, including those who may link to it. And before outreach you have to make sure you are promoting to people who have already linked to similar content to yours.

When you are working on these principles you will need some tools which make your work easy.

Here are some tools:

  1. SEMRUSH
  2. Ahref
  3. Google Trends(for Topics)

This tool will help you find topics and also help you to find out to whom you have to promote your content.

7. Reclaim Link from Stolen Images

This is one of the best and easy link building strategies. When you create and upload an image on your site and the other web platform uses your image without your permission then you can sue the website or you can ask the site owner to provide you with the backlinks against the images they have uploaded instead of taking them down. And this can be a great opportunity to get a quality backlink.

How to find your image ?

You don’t need to worry about finding your stolen images due to the availability of the Google image search. It can help you to easily find out where your image is being used.

Here are some steps that can help you:

Step1: Go to the Google Image search and then click on the camera icon in the search box.

Step2: Then a box of Search By Image will appear. Here you can paste the URL of your image or you can upload the image which you want to search.

Google Image Search

Step3: Click on “All sizes” next to the image at the top of the page. This will show you all possible results, no matter how big or small your image is.

Now, Google will find out and show the images that look the same as yours.

Now you have to manually see from which site you can contact because most sites don’t provide author’s name and email addresses.  But when you find it you have to send an outreach email to them.

Outreach Email for image reclamation

While writing an outreach email for Image reclamation you have to keep in mind that you have to be nice with the author and don’t blame him for using your image, it can help you to build a business relationship.

You just have to ask for a backlink for using your Image and have to write a convincing email.

Here is a template for Image reclamation outreach email.

Hey {First Name},

My name is [Name] and I am the owner of {Your Website Name}—{Something about your website}.

I saw that, up until recently, you were using our image on {Page URL}. Thank you for that — we really appreciate it.

However, I notice that you did not link back to our website from our image.

Could I ask you a small favor?

I’d really appreciate it if you could give a backlink to our site from that image.

Here’s the page to which you can give the backlink: {Your Webpage URL}

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,

14. Create Useful Tools on Your Website

I Know you are thinking about how it can help me in Link building, But i bet that this is the most effective link building strategy.

Have you ever seen the list of Tools on any website? If yes then you must have seen that in the name of every tool there is a link to the website of the tool. In most cases, the intent of a user appearing in a tool list is to use a tool. For that, he visits the website of the tools given there. With this, the website of the tools gets quality backlinks as well as high traffic.

Now you know about why to create a tool on your website but, it is also necessary to identify what to create.

Choosing a tool to create is very easy. You just have to see what type of tools are present on the web in your niche. And create one with high demanded.

To create a tool, you can use any web developing platform or can hire a web developer.

15. Competitor Backlinks Analysis

Competitor backlink analysis is one of the old and effective link building strategies. It also helps you rank above your competitors in SERP(Search Engine Ranking Page).

There are mainly 3 stages of Competitor backlink analysis strategy:

  1. Finding Competitors
  2. Backlink analysis
  3. Link building

1. Finding competitors: Finding your competitors and making a list of them can help you to do your work in an organized way. To find your competitor you can simply search for your targeted keyword on Google, then Google will show you the websites who are ranking above your website, and take out those websites in your list.

Do the same with every targeted keyword of your website. You can also use Alexa’s Audience Overlap Tool to find out.

2. Backlink Analysis: Now you have to use a paid tool to get the backlinks of your competitor.

Here are the names of some tools.

  • Ahref
  • SEMRUSH
  • MOZ

They can help you to find out all the External Links that your competitor’s site has.

After getting the link, you have to find out which of those links are such that the competitor’s site is benefiting the most. When you get it, then the next stage comes.

3. Link Building: Now you can see where your competitors are getting links from. To take down your competitor you have to build links on the same site they are getting backlink. You should do whatever necessary you find to build links.

Suppose your competitor has made a guest posting on a site and is getting backlinks from there. So you should do guest posting on the same site by writing a post better than that.

This way you can steal the backlink of your competitor.

16. Reciprocal Link Building Strategy

reciprocal link

Reciprocal link building refers to when you give a backlink to a website and in return take a backlink from that website as well. It is also known as traded and exchanged links.

Reciprocal links can harm your website if it is accomplished in the wrong way.

How to use a reciprocal link to help my SEO?

you have to find out sites who…

  • Are not your competitor
  • Share same information around your niche
  • Have some authority and relevant traffic.

This can help you to build trust in your user and as well as in search engines.

Remember that, reciprocal links are against Google Webmaster’s Guidelines. So doing it in a spamming way can harm your website and can build a high risk of penalization. And make sure that your link’s anchor text has to be related to your content.

17. Find Broken Link on Wikipedia

With an average of 1.4 billion visitors a month, Wikipedia is one of the world’s most visited websites. In fact, it’s the fourteenth most popular website in the world. Getting a link from wikipedia is a blessing because google considers wikipedia as a high authority information sharing site. To get a link from wikipedia, your website needs to be a reliable source for information that’s already been made on Wikipedia. There are a number of people on the web who rely on some combination of Google and Wikipedia to research a topic.

But, getting a backlink from wikipedia is not as simple. It requires some time, effort and resources.

Here are some steps that can help you to build backlinks on wikipedia.

Step1: Find a broken link or an article on Wikipedia on which you can get a link.

broken link on wikipedia

In this process you have to determine the appropriate topic page for your link. Getting a backlink from the page who has information related to your niche can help your website to build authority in your niche. To find a great article firstly you have to do some keyword research so that you can identify which keyword you can use in your anchor text.

You can use Google keyword planner to find some low competitive and high traffic keywords.

Step2: Create a unique and fresh topic.

You have to write content that provides value to the user and is useful for him. And if you are writing content to replace the broken link, then make sure that your content is better than the content that was on the broken link.

Step3: Outreach with your content and then wait for the revert.

To outreach you simply have to contact the Wikipedia page or website editor or owner and let them know that one of their references leads to a dead page, but you are able to provide an alternative link with even better content.

These steps will take a little bit of your time but even a Wikipedia backlink can get your site ranked.

18. Event Link Building

Using local, national or international events to get links back to your website is known as event link building. This strategy also helps you get offline exposure to your target audience. To get a quality backlink from an event you have to host or sponsor an event. By sponsoring these events you can benefit from the link juice they create from their promotion and have a guaranteed backlink and advertising place on their website.

By this google will consider your backlinks as Good links because you don’t pay for the link, you Earned the link

What type of event can I sponsor?

Here are some types of events that you can sponsor according to your industry type.

  • Concerts
  • Clubs
  • Meetups
  • Conferences
  • Workshops
  • Seminars
  • Sports
  • events
  • Lectures
  • Academic
  • Events

But where will you find an event to sponsor?

To find events you can use some Google search terms like.

  • “Your Niche”+”become a sponsor”
  • “Your niche”+”sponsors”
  • “Your niche”+”link to yours”
  • “Your niche”+”link to yours website”

These terms will highlight all of the pages on the relevant website that contain events related to your industry in your Google search results.

But also there are some websites that can help you search local events in your area through Google.

  • events.fb.com
  • residentadvisor.net
  • Meetup.com
  • Patch.com

You can also use Google alerts to get an alert every time google got some new event around your niche.

19. Check Your Email Regularly

This is one of the simple tactics of link building.

But how?

Sometimes what happens: that you have some content that is more useful to other websites than you. For which other websites try to contact you by email to get that content from you.

To get content they either offer money or a backlink from their website. And this is a good opportunity to get a quality backlink without any efforts.

For this, now you just have to check your mail regularly. You will have to do this work daily or at least twice a week. Make sure you can revert the email as soon as possible

One more thing you have to keep in mind that any site you give to publish your content, that site must be audited once. You have to check a few things like.

  • The domain authority of the site is high.
  • Site has a low spam score.
  • Site is related to your industry or niche.

If the site passes in these metrics then you are good to go to provide content and get a quality backlink.

20. Web Directory

This is one of the beginner’s link building strategies. All you have to do is find a web directory site and list your website or business on it.

Simple isn’t it? but not now as before.

Some time ago, website owners used to list their website in any irrelevant and low DA web directory to rank it on SERP. But now Google has removed all the low quality web directories from their search results. And now there is no use of listing your website on those directories.

Now to get a link from a web directory site you have to find a directory that not only gives you the chance to post a link to your website, but also provides useful information for your potential customers is a directory you want to be listed on.

There are some types of directories like Niche directories and directories that are attached to informative websites for a specific industry. These types of directories are good for lion building.

Having your business listed with such directories makes it easier to get indexed in the major search engines and helps people find you online.

21. Research Reports & Case Studies

You must have seen that some sites use it in their articles. They do this so that they can win the trust of the people because it is human nature that we believe in exact numbers rather than estimates.

Although, when you yourself would be writing a blog, then you would definitely have given a link to that article, in which the details of your topic are studied:

Your personal opinion can be interesting and valuable, especially if you have been in a specific field for a long time.

You can create a piece of content in some types like..

  • Research papers
  • Case studies
  • Reviews
  • Comparisons

Also keep in mind that you have to be the first to write about a certain topic. But if you are late then you have to be the best (Detailed and Fresh) among all the content which is already present.

That All For Now

Please remember that your website’s link profile is one of the most crucial factors in ranking in search engine results and after the penguin update Google doesn’t care so much about how many links point to your pages, but rather about the experience you create for users.

We hope this blog provides some value to you and can help you create some best quality backlinks that can help your website or webpage to gain some relevant and quality traffic.

An early build of Windows 11 is now available in the Windows 11 Beta Channel of the Windows Insider Program. The Windows Insider program is divided into three channels:

The Dev Channel

This channel is best for technical users and developers. It is where new features are introduced for initial testing. These builds will have rough edges and some instability that could block key activities or require workarounds.

The Beta Channel

Ideal for early adopters. Insiders and IT Professionals in the Beta Channel can check out upcoming Windows 10 features, while still getting relatively reliable updates that are validated by Microsoft.

The Release Preview Channel

The Release Preview Channel is where Microsoft recommends companies preview and validate upcoming Windows 10 releases before broad deployment within the organization. It’s meant for final testing of an upcoming release and is best for those who want the most stable builds.

How to get the Windows 11 beta: Join the Windows Insider Program

The Windows Insider Program is the only way to get access to this early Windows 11 build. Provided you’ve got an active Microsoft account, signing up is for free and a simple process:

  • On your Windows 10 PC, open Settings
  • Head to Update & Security and choose ‘Windows Insider Program’ from the left pane
  • If you’re not already signed up, click the ‘Get Started’ button
  • From the pop-up that appears, click ‘Link an account’
  • Choose from an account that’s already signed in, or log in with new details
  • On the next screen, choose either the ‘Dev Channel’ or ‘Beta Channel’, although we’d recommend the latter if device stability or bugs are a concern. Windows 11 isn’t available in the ‘Release Preview Channel’ yet
  • Hit ‘Confirm’ on this screen and the next, which indicates you agree to the terms and conditions

To complete signup, you’ll need to restart your PC. Choose whether to do that now or later

That’s the hard bit done – now you’ll just need to install the beta like you do for any other update.

How to install the Windows 11 beta: Download the update

Once you’re a member of the Insider Program, installing the Windows 11 beta couldn’t be easier:

  • Head to Settings > Update & Security
  • From the Windows Update tab, choose ‘Check for updates’
  • After a few seconds, an update named ‘Windows 11 Insider Preview’ will automatically begin downloading
  • Once it’s finished, you’ll be prompted to restart your PC. Click ‘Restart now’ to do it straight away

That’s it! Once your PC has installed the update, the Windows 11 beta will be ready to use. Don’t worry, all your apps and files will remain intact.
